Bayern Munich Hit 15 Past Rottach-Egern as Nathaniel Brown Makes His Debut

Bayern Munich returned to winning ways in pre-season with a commanding 15-0 victory over FC Rottach-Egern, while summer signing Nathaniel Brown made his first appearance in Bayern colours.

After losing 2-1 to Wehen Wiesbaden in their opening friendly, Vincent Kompany's side produced a completely different performance in their second pre-season outing.

Bayern Race Into a 6-0 Half-Time Lead

The Bundesliga champions needed only eight minutes to open the scoring through Filip Pavić.

Arijon Ibrahimović doubled the advantage a minute later before Felipe Chávez struck twice as Bayern quickly took complete control of the match.

Ibrahimović added his second shortly before half-time, while Maycon Cardozo made it 6-0 in stoppage time.

The performances of Ibrahimović, Chávez and Cardozo were among the biggest positives for Kompany, with Bayern's young attacking players repeatedly causing problems for the hosts.

Nine More Goals After the Break

Bayern continued to dominate in the second half.

Cardozo added another goal before Armindo Sieb scored twice. João Palhinha, Bara Sapoko Ndiaye and Bastian Assomo also found the net.

Several players returning from FIFA World Cup 2026 duty were introduced later in the match, including Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan Tah and Aleksandar Pavlović.

Pavlović scored Bayern's 13th goal before Kimmich made it 14-0.

Sixteen-year-old Skender Nuraj completed the rout in stoppage time, firing home the final goal of Bayern's 15-0 victory.

Nathaniel Brown Makes Bayern Debut

Another major talking point was the first appearance of Nathaniel Brown.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt defender came on during the second half and recorded his first minutes as a Bayern Munich player.

His debut adds further competition to Kompany's defensive options ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign.

Young Players Impress Ahead of New Season

The quality of the opposition means the result should not be overanalysed, but the performance still provided Bayern with several encouraging signs.

Young players such as Ibrahimović, Chávez, Cardozo and Nuraj made the most of their opportunities, while returning senior players were able to build match fitness.

For Bayern, the 15-0 victory was an ideal response to their opening pre-season defeat as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign.
