Tim David Penalised After RCB vs MI Clash In IPL 2026

Indian Premier League witnessed another dramatic off-field moment after Royal Challengers Bengaluru all-rounder Tim David was fined following Match 54 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians.

The IPL governing body confirmed that Tim David breached Level 1 of the league’s Code of Conduct under Article 2.6, which relates to using gestures considered offensive or inappropriate during a match.

As a result:

Tim David was fined 30% of his match fee

Two demerit points were added to his disciplinary record
