Axar Patel Penalised As Delhi Capitals Face Slow Over Rate Trouble

Axar Patel, captain of Delhi Capitals, has been fined after his team maintained a slow over rate during IPL 2026 Match 55 against Punjab Kings.

The match took place at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, where DC failed to complete their overs within the required time.

According to IPL regulations:

Axar Patel received a fine of INR 12 lakh

This was Delhi Capitals’ first over-rate offence of the season
