LALIGA Leads World Cup 2026 Final Representation with 24 Players

As Spain and Argentina prepare to battle for the World Cup 2026 title, LALIGA EA SPORTS has emerged as the most represented domestic league in the final.

Of the 52 players named across the two finalist squads, 24 currently belong to LALIGA clubs, accounting for nearly half of all players involved in the title clash.

The Premier League ranks second with 13 players, followed by Ligue 1 with five and Serie A with three. MLS and Argentina's Liga Profesional have two representatives each, while the Bundesliga, Primeira Liga and Brasileirão Série A each contribute one player.

LALIGA's influence has also been visible on the pitch. Across the semi-final matches involving Spain and Argentina, 16 of the 44 starting players represented LALIGA clubs.

Two of the five goals scored in the semi-finals also came from LALIGA players, Mikel Oyarzabal and Anthony Gordon.

The Spanish league had already made a major impact in the quarter-finals, when all four Player of the Match awards went to LALIGA stars — Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham and Julián Álvarez.

With 24 players represented in the Spain-Argentina final, LALIGA heads into the biggest match of World Cup 2026 as the league with the strongest presence among the two finalists.
